Nice Day For A White Wedding

Yesterday morning when I woke up it was pouring with rain – by the afternoon it had brightened into a beautiful day for the wedding of Carol and Brad who had travelled over from Ohio, USA. Thank goodness, because they were getting married in the open air, in the ruins of Kilchrist church, on the road to Elgol on the Isle of Skye. A small group of family attended the ceremony which was conducted inside the ruins, before I whisked the newlyweds off for a few photos. They are honeymooning at the gorgeous Mary’s Thatched Cottages in Elgol for the next week, which is where Carol got ready for her big day. Here are a few photos.
