Lucky day for a Hebridean wedding?

A couple of weeks ago, on 08/08/08, Catriona Maclean from South Uist married her beau, John Quinn, under a perfect blue sky. Apparently there were plenty of weddings across the country that day so it must be a lucky date! After the lovely ceremony, Catriona and John went to nearby Howmore beach for some photos, before wowing everyone with their dancing skills in a traditional reel with the best man and bridesmaid. John’s son Aidan was outstanding as Best Man 2 and his speech was the funniest of the day! Here are a few photographs.
