Patricia and Joe travelled all the way from Massechussets in the USA to get married at Toravaig Hotel in Skye yesterday. Joe is originally from Dublin and moved to America in 1993; he and Patricia met three years ago, and it was love at first sight. They had always wanted to visit Scotland together and so chose to have their wedding here, just the two them. The ceremony was conducted by Elizabeth McNiven, Broadford registrar, and the witnesses were two of the staff who work at Toravaig Hotel – Adam and Maria from Poland.
